George Speaks in Hot Springs

The Fine Arts Center presentation was about the creation of post card “art”. The presentation featured lots of art and the process they take. The talk featured my history with the art process, which included all the people encountered, the places visited and the fun mailing images from post offices across the world. My favorite story (if there can be one) is of the Italian postal staff exclaming “Bella, bella, architectura!” on our last day when we mailed all the postcards of their local scenes. My postcard of the Little Rock historic cemetery, Mt. Holly was selected by the juror and is featured.The exhibit is a traveling show of the state’s juried exhibit of Small Works on Paper.  The exhibition was displayed across the state.
