George's Postcard Note: Lunch on the Terrace -
To find the perfect spot for an outdoor lunch in Rome after a busy tourist morning is always a delight and a relief. Coming upon a tented café on the roof of the Capitoline Museum was such a moment. The lunch was good, but the fun with my daughters was the real dessert! They were having such a good time making us laugh hearing about their shopping sprees and Italian men encounters that we almost couldn’t leave. We learned an important lesson while traveling in Italy: always let beautiful blondes lead the way. Needless to say we got a good table here – Euro sunglasses and all!
