George's Postcard Note: Upon finding this beauty on a hill up from the bay, I stopped short, stared, and immediately pulled out my postcard paper. What a grand OD lady, this 18th century colonial house! To me the entry porch's graceful arms seem to be reaching out to welcome visitors from afar, or to some fine occasion. The gently sloping street in front allows the faux stone wooden wall to show off its handy work. The false stone joints & the lacy hatband of the wooden balustrade complete her finery.
