George's Postcard Note: I think you can feel the quiet peacefulness I feel painting in nature . . .and especially in this "Land of Enchantment," as New Mexico so aptly calls itself. This view across a desert valley to the green river valley in the distance is typical of the big open landscapes of the American West. I enjoyed adding to the image I created by placing stamps of a resting fox and a blooming flower in their natural environment.
